You start the day with an extensive geological exploration of the Reykjanes Peninsula, a UNESCO Global Geopark with diverse volcanic and geothermal activity. After visiting the volcanic area we will start exploring the geothermal wonders of Reykjanes. Among the highlights are the boiling mud pools of Gunnuhver and Seltún, colorful lava fields, and volcanic craters. Our guide will explain the geological forces behind a landscape of this caliber. Toward the end of the tour, we stop at the Blue Lagoon and explore the area and the history of this popular tourist attraction. A visit to the Lagoon is included in the price.
